Özel Koç Lisesi’nden mezun oldu. Boston’da Bentley College’da Business Communication okudu. School of the Museum of Fine Arts’da resim kurslarına katıldı. New York’ta Parsons School of Design’ın grafik tasarım bölümünden mezun oldu. Paris’te Sipa Press’te staj yaptı. İstanbul’da Orhan Taylan Atölyesi’nde resme devam etti. 2006 yılından beri Milano’da yaşıyor. Moda tasarımı ve illüstrasyon üzerine diploma aldıktan sonra bir stüdyo kurdu. Vancouver 2010 Kış Olimpiyatları’nda İtalya’da yaşayan sanatçıların katılacağı sergi için resmi konseye alındı.
After graduating from the Koç High School in İstanbul, İnsel studied Business Communication at Boston’s Bentley College. During her education, she attended drawing courses in the "School of the Museum of Fine Arts". After Boston, she graduated from Parsons School of Design with a major in Graphic Design. She interned at Sipa Press in Paris and continued painting at the Orhan Taylan Studio in İstanbul. Since 2006, İnsel has been living in Milan where she established a studio for painting and illustration with two other designers. She will participate in the art exhibition with CONI-Casa Italia (Italian Olympic committee's cultural exhibition group) at the Vancouver winter Olympics in 2010.
